Aquarium Field Trip!

On Wednesday, we took a field trip to the New England Aquarium to conclude our study of fish.  Ask your child about the different fish and animals that they saw and which was their favorite.  Also, be sure to ask them what makes a fish a fish!

Science Fun!

Today, we put a twist on the game Headbandz in 1S!  First graders each had a picture of an animal on their head.  They had to ask their partner questions based on life cycle, anatomy, habitat and body covering to figure out if it was a fish, bird or insect that was on their head.  They had a lot of fun:).
