Museum of Science Field Trip!

We had so much fun on our field trip to the Museum of Science last week!  Thank you to all the parents who helped make our trip a successful one!

Bugworks!

Mrs. Diamond from BugWorks came in to teach us all about different insects!  Some of the kids were a lot more daring than I was and they held and pet some of the bugs! Ask your child about the insects that Mrs. Diamond shared with us.  Thanks to the Deerfield Cultural Enrichment Program for providing this engaging experience for us!

Acton Discovery Museum

Last week, Ms Harris from Acton Discovery Museum came to teach first graders about sound!  They learned about vibration, sound waves, tuning forks and pitch.  Be sure to ask them about those different science vocabulary words and what they learned from Ms.Harris.:)
